I think if they did learn anything, it would be to get professional directors for her videos and make lighter music, in terms of production and concept. People listen to music to get away from it all and when you put out and album with these heavy concepts and heavy beats that confuse people they aren't gonna like it.
With that said I don't want her to revert back to the TFM-esque music because as an artist she has to advance and I believe she can be successful and advance musically.
Interscope did an amazing job promotion-wise. The only thing that was damaged in the BTW era was Gaga's charisma and supremacy. And I'm positive that she will learn from those huge mistakes. Interscope might be a little tighter on her, next time as well.
And they could learn -
1. Do more analysis about when exactly to release singles and what singles to release.
2. Have her do interviews with Radio people so that they play her music a bit, lol.
3. Not to over-hype so much that things literally wait to backfire. 'Album of the decade' oh shut the **** up bitch.
4. Not to over-over-expose or over-prmote and perform so frequently everywhere that people stop giving a **** even about the stellar performances.
5. Use a little more attractive theatrics. *looks at L'lama Vogue or whatever's cover and physically throws up*
6. Make an album which is progressive but at the same time capable of being commercially successful, like TFM.Figure out how to do that.
7.Have catchier and stronger hooks in songs unlike weak ones in most songs this era.I don't think that's a compromise in artistic integrity. All her huge hits have them.
That's all I can think of.

They dropped the ball with TEOG video. That could've been her 2nd number 1 from that album.
Didn't she say before that this whole era was a test of some sort for her true fans? And that is was a one time thing? Anyway, Interscope and even Gaga herself aren't stupid enough not to change their ways. The both of them were obviously aware of public/fan reactions to the whole era and will make changes accordingly. The next album is said to be much more commercial and her current image is perfect for the next era; "different" but not "look at me! look at me!" and pretty. The label should have a bigger say in creative decisions and hire professionals for everything; videos, photo shoots, artwork etc. The current media hiatus was a very smart move. Getting her out of the public eye until the next single this fall will give her a huge "comeback" and will hopefully be successful in all aspects; singles, albums, acclaim etc.
But what do videos what have to do with the charts?? Was just wondering..'cuz that really makes me wonder
If I'm not wrong, VEVO views represent a percentage on Billboard Hot 100 position. But, the most important thing is that a video gives popularity to a song.
Interscope will pressure Gaga, but she won't exactly follow. You see, Gaga is very idea-driven. Once she has the concept, she will strive for it. To be quite honest, she only cares for her true loyal fans. That's who she makes music for. Her debut era was all about getting hits. I think these days she just wants to be creatively free and fill her ambitions.
Not all of Gaga's stans are delusional. For the most part, we are aware that the Born This Way era was less successful than The Fame/The Fame Monster era's in terms of longevity, commercial reception, airplay, video quality/views etc.
There is nothing to be learned, she isn't fading and she was the most/is the most, successful pop girl. Sure, this era had less billboard hot 100 hits but on the global scale, thats where she out did everyone...look at the demand for her Ww tour... Asia sales have been iconic and Australia is feeling the Gaga fever....this sounds nothing like a flop to me and whoever thinks this is clearly Jealous much.
