On December 25, 2006, I went with my family to go see Dreamgirls. The scene where Jennifer Hudson was singing on the stage about not leaving was on, and, as one might expect, the theater was full of clamor. We thought that people were standing up and applauding her performance, but then we heard, "get her ass." We then proceeded to turn around, and, to our astonishment, we saw two groups of girls scrapping. Everything seemed to have subsided after one group clearly molly whopped the hell out of the other; however, a few minutes later one of the girls of the defeated group reached in her purse, pulled out a pistol, began brandishing it in the air and said,"that's why I got a pistol." Everyone hauled ass out of that theater, and I have yet resume where I left off on Dreamgirls.
