Nope, the country format nowadays only play big female artist like Carrie, Miranda & Taylor. Billboard even did

If Haley was pimped from the start, her fanbase would be 2 or 3 times bigger than that
Her American idol performances EP didn't sell much while Scotty's EP even reached the top 10 as i remember

But then you have artist like Adam & Chris Daughtry who didn't win yet remain the most memorable from their season. And plus every concert review I read for the Idol summer tour kept on saying how much they were anticipating post-idol material from Haley, so she had the hype by her side.

Lauren held back vocally for most of her song choices. I'd say Skylar is more like a improved version of her
