This will be the first time a BLACK actress wins for a film that is ALL ABOUT HER. Like Meryl won for The Iron Lady, Natalie for Black Swan, Sandra for The Blind Side, Marion for La Vie En Rose ...
... get what I'm saying?

No I don't. A lead is a lead, despite how much the film is all about her. The Iron Lady DOESN'T star ONLY Meryl. Black Swan DOESN'T star only Natalie. The Blind Side DOESN'T star only Sandra. Monster's Ball is just as much as a lead as the female characters in those films. It may not have been her own headlining film but she is the female lead. Get what I'm saying?
And have you seen Monster's Ball? The movie was devoted to only Halle and Billy the WHOLE time.
Also I'm not trying to argue. Talk to me about Nicole Kidman winning Best Actress for her short amount of screen time in The Hours, when she was just as good and even better in Moulin Rouge and I may want to
