There's a reason why Interscope/Gaga cut the BTW era short: it simply wasn't selling anymore. While she earned a different kind of success this era, Interscope will want her to go a different direction next album. Interscope knows that Gaga is smart enough to put out innovative material (i.e. PF and BR), so I'm sure they'll put lots of pressure on her before the next album is released.
But then again, we don't really know exactly how much control Interscope has over Gaga, so it's really all up in the air. The point is that Gaga is capable of putting out bigger smash hits.

Basically.
I'm actually a little shocked at how much people are underestimating her tbqh. Gaga is smart, and by that I mean she will hold absolutely no punches back next era. Her new singles (more than the previous one's) will perfect the art of being "different" yet extremely commercial... because she has no choice, and she knows this. Quote me.
