What score do you usually get for doing that?

I hate it so much.
I'm usually fine until I mess up or stutter then I get nervous and can barely talk.
Last week I was supposed to do a speech but I was absolutely too nervous to do it, so I skipped class

Before I give the public speech, I'm nervous as hell but once I'm infront of the class I get calmed and just say what I need to say. Just remember that most of 'em are just as nervous as you are.

Just realize most of the class is not really paying attention, and they just want you to shut up so they can go home.

once you get the topic, how much time do you have to prepare? a few minutes, at least? it would be good to learn how to prep a speech outline on the spot so your speech can have a little structure once you find out your topic. this one works well:

Attention Getting Device: Some short story or anecdote that has to do with your topic
Thesis: A clear, concise statement about what you're going to talk about today

a. Sub pt/example
b. Sub pt/example

2. Your second point
a. Sub pt/example
b. Sub pt/example

Conclusion: Restate your AGD, Thesis, and review your 2 main points.

Those attention getting devices do work. Even if I have to fabricate something, I make sure to have one.

Idk, I've never had any problems doing speech.

also eye contact is important. I've always stared people down when giving presentation lol coz if you don't they won't pay attention.

Oh god, I took a speech class last year and it was the worst thing ever. I would get so nervous waiting my turn, but once I got up in front of the room I kinda forgot about everyone and did my thing. I would always look down when I talked though because I hate seeing people stare at me. Good luck
