Dear lordT...
From the ages of 10 - 17 I suffered from the most intense panic attacks ever when I'd step into a public place. School was the worst. I could feel my heart skipping beats, sweat would rush down my faces and armpits, I'd get shortness of breath - the works.
Anxiety held me back from several things during those ages. It still affects me to a certain extent, but I've learned to tune everything out. Sometimes it gets really bad and I won't be able to block it out, so I'll get overwhelmed and either shut down or give up.
