My Official Album Review. Feel free to critique it.
I have listened to the album through and through. Go cop it. Seriously. It's out July 25th so support her because she's bringing heat. And here's my disclaimer:
90% chance says this is/will be better than "B'Day" so Beyonce better bring heat with 10 tracks cause if not I'm not buying
Onto The Review:
Track 1: Intro
--Who actually listens to these? Not I <_<
Track 2: U Got What I Need
--I think this is OKAY. Nothing special. It's soulful but there HAS to be a reason that when she ATTEMPTED to release this, it didn't get anywhere. One of the few songs I'm not particularly in love with.
7/10
Track 3:So Special
--Great lyrics, great beat and great vocals. But I dont reccomend this in continous repeat cause it can (AND WILL) Get annoying fast. This was one of the first songs that leaked I believe (Besides "AEOM, GG, & UGwIN) so I'm glad it's been re-done.
8/10
Track 4: Torn
--Hell yeah. The song has been re-done with a altered beat so iut sounds more fufilling. One of the definite highlights of the album.
10/10
Track 5: What Love Can Do
--Umm yeah. This sounds liek a faster, less quality beat, better worded "Torn". I don't like how this and "Torn" are like the same concepted songs and are back to back. At least it's a really good "FILLER" song.
8/10
Track 6: She Don't
--This is the summer jam. like "So Special" it can get old when played repeatedly. Not really vocally demanding but it's a good song with a nice concept and also; yall KNOW that beat change in the second verse is slick as HELL.
8.5/10
Track 7: Tear Da Club Up (H-Town Version) F/Bun B & Jazze Pha
--WTF? did I ever mention that I absolutely HATE this version? J/K. It's hot as hell but I dont reccomend it if you hate "chopped & screwed" music. And Jazze Pha did a okay job of producing this but his stuff seriously always sounds the same nowadays.
9/10
Track 8: All Eyez On Me F/Paul Wall
--Paul Wall's verse is slick (but would have been beter suited for Chamillinaire. i know yall heard his verseon Ciara's "Get Up <3333). Anyways, this songs has been online since fire was invented and should have been a definite single choice but I think because they tried already, it's out of the running. It's a shame cause this song could really cross her over on Pop Radio.
9.5/10
Track 9: Hey Fella H/Slim Thug
--Slim Thug has had a very BORING year with him being on Bee's "Check On It", being on THIS song, and being in the "She Don't" video. This song is okay, but it's JUST as boring as "Slim Thug's voice

" I love this beat cause it's so relaxed too lol.
7/10
Track 10: Gangsta Grillz F/Mike Jones & Killa Kyleon
--One of my favorites. the bass <333, the chorus <333. Toya has a few hits up her sleeve and this is a great song. I prefer it over "She Don't" as a single choice cause it's a summer jam. Should have been a single but there's still a chance. And Mike Jones delivers a okay appearance along with a unknown Killa Kyleon. The ad-libs during the chorus are ot too.
9/10
Track 11: Something 4 Ya
-- *sings* ' I got something 4 ya so won't ya come over'. Nice song though it leaves something to be desired.
8/10
Track 12: Obvious
-- This is the best song oin the album. PErioud. At one point this better be a single. Hell, I wold have picked this over "Torn" cause the lyrics and vocals are on point as hell. And this single handedly puts "Deja Vu" to shame even though it's a slow song. This was one of the 3 songs that never leaked until the full album did and I'm glad cause I actually think a slow songs like this COULD be the album highlight. Mid/Slow tempo R&B could be her niche cause this **** is nice as hell. Easily on my Top 4 songs list for this album.
10/10
Track 13: I'm Good
--Another banger with a point? Thank GOD that awful Ebony Eyez rap is gone cause it was pure ****. The beat is fire along with the vocals. Definentkly the most undderrated song on the album cause it never gets a mention. And they new lyrics are wAYYYY better than that last version. Definently up there with "Obvious" and "Torn".
10/10
Track 14: This Song
--Janet Jackson better be pissed because Jermaine Dupri definently did LeToya a favor and screwed Janet by giving Toya a hot production like this. Another great song and I really think thi would be a nice single but Pop Radio wont eat this up like R&B would. I really think this another great song.
9/10
Track 15: No More
--Did I ever mention that this isn'tmy favorite song? Well, I had a change of heart. It's not chopped and screwed anymore and the horns at the beggining. The story of the song is sad and you can feel the emotion. For some reason, this reminds me of a Aaliyah song.
7.5/10
Track 16: Outro
--I listened <3333333. Nice vocals and a nice way to close out the album. And her voice is SOOO country.
N/A
Track 17: Tear Da Club Up (Other version, BONUS Track) F/Jazze Pha & Bun B
-- I like this way more than the other version and it's a nice little touch to the album. Potential single choice?
8/10
Overall
8.5 Which is a VERY solid debut album <333
