I think that Mean was a must .. yes there are better songs
but she had to put it out because it's her most Country sounding song on Speak Now
and look at the bright side , it won 2 Grammys !
and it has a great message .. Ours , I think that it's a good choice for a last single
TSOU , I really love that song but seeing how it flopped , it made it look like it's the worst song on the album .. and it also shows how Taylor's songs always rely on Country stations , when it comes to Air play , Pop stations only want what's selling .. Country stations stay true to their artists and they never disappoint
and it shows with Speak Now , all the singles sent to Country radio peaked in the Top 5
that's better than any of the singles released from her previous albums !
So yeah .. this wasn't the best Era but it's not bad at all
I hope that they have 1 more single to put out , that will smash ( BTR , Enchanted ) and help the album get that 5x platinum sooner .
But The Story of Us so sad to say but that single is a flop
