I think it's rather a romantic love song than a celebration of sex and partying, as most stans see it. I love her almost lullaby-like delivery. She recorded it while she was pregnant with Jayden and Sean Preston was in the studio with her that day as well. She's said a few times it's her favorite 'Blackout' track.
I don’t see how ‘Everytime’ is comparable to ‘Unusual You.’ When I said most mature, I meant strictly lyrically. ‘Everytime’ is brilliant, but it’s certainly not her most mature song, even though ‘At night I pray that soon your face will fade away’ is my favorite line from her ever.

It's DEFINITELY a romantic love song... That's why it's so beautiful. I don't even see how anyone could interpret it as a sexual song with lyrics like "I'd move across the world for you." Britney has good taste.
Fair enough, but she had a hand in writing Everytime, so it feels more real to me.
