I was looking at the TRL archives and I noticed that Ashanti premiered a video in the fall of 2005. So, what happened? I never heard her song and I never saw the video. Did it flop? Did she stop the release, like Monica did a few years ago when her song All Eyes on Me flopped, so she went back to the studio in order to improve her album? Did Ashanti do the same?

She did release a remix album last fall called Collectables By Ashanti and it had the flop single, "Still On It" featuring Method Man and Paul Wall. She's recording a new album now.

Yeah, unfortunately she did drop an album. And it was a "Greatest Almost Hits" album so it sucked.

Foolish was the #1 song of 2002? Happy, Rock WIt U, & Rain On Me all went top 10. Baby & Only U went top 15. Those are defenetly not almost hits.

Just saying, she's had almost all successful singles in America. She hasn't released enough to fill an album though, that's why it's a remix album.

She's awesome. Her collabs with Fat Joe and Ja Rule are stunning and amazing [she makes the songs about 10000x better]

The album wasn't very good. The remixes ^+^ but you can't expect them to be good. Focus {Remix} and Still On It are AWESOME though.

Don't Let Them - "Don't Leave Me Alone" was originally the 2nd single and started to get spins way early on. Then all of a sudden they released this instead and the CR era was over.
Still On It - Hot ass song, should have been a big hit. A day of promo was put into promoting "Collectables" so it's understandable. Again, Collectables was released so that she can be released from her contract with the INC.

Her "Collectibles" album flopped miserably last year along with "Still On It," which IMO, had wut it took to be successful on the current Billboards? <333 the song though.

Rock With U (Aww Baby) *AMAZING SONG* would have been #1 for many weeks if Beyonce hadn't come out with Crazy In Love...

Ashitti sucks but Only U, Foolish and Rain On Me was all my jams (still are)!! I hope she just becomes a songwriter, she doesn't have what it takes to be a star.
