My favorite time of the year, when it comes to television!
ABC:
- BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
- GILDED LILYS
- 666 PARK AVENUE
Side note, what kind of stereotypical mess is this?
Quote:
DEVIOUS MAIDS (ABC Studios)

Director: Paul McGuigan
Logline:Based on the Mexican format, this soap follows four maids with ambition and dreams of their own while they work for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills.
CW:
- CULT
- ARROW
- THE SELECTION
- BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
I'm not really aware of what's coming in general pilots wise, but from what I've read in some other forums, so far I'm interested in these (curiously they're all from NBC):
REVOLUTION (Warner Bros. Television)
Quote:
Writer: Eric Kripke
Producers: J.J. Abrams, Bryan Burk, Eric Kripke
Logline: A high-octane action drama from J. J. Abrams following a group of characters struggling to survive and reunite with loved ones in a world where all forms of energy have mysteriously ceased to exist.
HANNIBAL (Gaumont International Television)
Quote:
(Note: NBC has already ordered 13 episodes of this series, starring the "Silence of the Lambs" villain.)
Writer: Bryan Fuller
Producers: Bryan Fuller, Martha DeLaurentiis
Logline: Contemporary thriller series featuring the classic characters from Thomas Harris’ novel "Red Dragon" -- FBI agent Will Graham and his mentor Dr. Hannibal Lecter -- who are re-introduced at the beginning of their budding relationship.
^ The last one mostly because it's from the guy who created "Pushing Daisies". He's also doing a remake of "The Munsters" for NBC.
I think Cult (CW) sounds good, and of course I'm looking forward to checking out The Carrie Diaries. Devious Maids and Americana (ABC) have potential. These kind of write-ups don't really give us a sense on the actual quality of the show. For example, I would have never guessed Grey's Anatomy or Glee would work out if all I'd known of them was a blurb like this.
