I used to like Pixie, and didn't really mind that she was a copy cat. I just saw it as double the music that I enjoyed. Her voice was average(Which is most likely of Godly standards to you) compared to how she is singing now. (see Tinchy Stryder's music video).

Lets look at it this way. NB is irrelevant, I'm fine with that. But Pixie Lott is also quickly becoming irrelevant. How are you fooling? Ever since she turned from Girl-Next-Door role model to Sex Kitten, everyone's opinion of her has severely declined.

To some points I understand, but I don't necessarily agree with this. People will say "I want the old them back" with any artist. Rihanna, Katy, Gaga or Pixie, it doesn't matter who it is. Not every member of the public is going to be pleased. That's why the music industry is so tough. Not everyone will be impressed from change.

More on to Pixie.. Yeah she toned it up a notch, but that was only in one video. She has a banging body and she really hadn't done something steamy like that before. I say good on her for taking a risk and being confident enough to pull that off. It was something new and she was giving out some variety.

In a way, WDYTMF was no different to Boys and Girls lmao..

Her record label though.. Mercury seem to favour other artists and don't like to 'overpromote' her.

Pixie is far from irrelevent. The album underperformed but that's it. The label have acknowledged that they tried to change her image and they will be sure to fix that for her next album. She's getting played internationally now and she'll be heading to America soon so, nope, not irrelevent. I like how you mentioned Bright Lights though, the critics and fans think its brilliant, in fact they performed it live just last night and everyone loved it. Oop.
