I don't like this view of critics as bullies who want to punish her for being who she is. I think they genuinely didn't like her movie (b/c that's what this is really about). Why did she edit the hell out of it after it premiered to critical lashings? So she sacrificed the integrity of her art because of what those critics she's lambasting said about it?
