I'll let a Madge stan correct me if I am wrong but I don't think Madonna had any involvement with this Playboy issue, and that Playboy bought nude photos of her from before she was famous.

Madonna's photo was taken from a publicity still for her film Desperately Seeking Susan, and her nudes we bought by Penthouse and Playboy without her consent. She had nothing to do with either publications publishing the images.
