OKAY.. "Call On Me" has been released for a year now , there's no video , no public appearances (except that weird booty appearance at the BET ). The song is fuc.kin weak ,it's dying slowly and she's like what-ever.

to be honest yes. She is losin buzz DRAMATICALLY! Only her fans really care. And her vid still dont come out for another TWO WEEKS! Secondly, even if her 2nd single is FIRE! She has 2 go against Bee and Xtina 2nd singles and I have a feelin their 2nd singles will be stronger than their 1st.

Nope. "Call On Me" is to Janet's as "It's Like That" is to Mariah. A nice heater track preparing you for what is about to blow you away.

Unfortunately, That is not correct. "It's Like That" was light years hotter and much of a "heater" than Call On Me . Mariah also made her back up to the song with a super-classy and hot video in a reasonable time . People were actually excited ,then she came up with We belong Together and blewn everybody away. She had the perfect strategy.

I didnt think shed flop with Damita Jo coz i was actually one of the people who really liked I Want You. I Want You is waay better than Call On Me, so sadly i think shel be flopping again, unless if she releases a hot second single before the album is out.

It's Like That reached #16 on the hot 100, while Janet's song is in the 70s how is that comparable?

All Nite was spose 2 be Janets HOT 2nd single and that FLOPPED! This album is already done. Sorry Janet....I dont see her regainin hype.

Are being sarcastic? If I'm not mistaken it's barely the 4th week on the chart. Also, her album had already been pushed back because her studio wanted her to lose weight (I read it in a magazine months ago and she really did look fat in the picture that come along with the article.).

To answer the question: I really hope she doesn't flop and I don't want her to, but I can't honestly saw now that I don't think she'll flop. I dunno, maybe not but Call On Me isn't doing that hot, is it? I hope she'll be able to gain more momentum with a HOT second single. I really want Janet to do well, she deserves it, she deserves a nice comeback just like Mariah got in '05. They are two legends in the industry. I know that I will still support Janet and buy her album no matter what, I just hope that the general public will too.

I think she's like well I've been out 20 years and I'm just going to release this to get some money. She probably knows that the new girls are overpowering her unlike the vice-versa. I don't think it will flop if the video is hot and if she releases a 2nd single before the new album.
