With the whole Chris Brown controversy and the less than magnificent performance of You Da One is Talk That Talk headed downwards or is it redeemable?
It seems like the single releases are messy, no-one really knows what is going on, what would redeem this album or should she take a break and come back next year once this whole situation has blown over?
We Found Love is her biggest single to date, how has she lost momentum so fast after this WW smash?

Hitting #1 on the BH100 for 10 consecutive weeks and #1 on a further 20 charts, arguably her biggest hit to date

Only reaching #14 on the BH100 and only 16 in the UK where she normally dominates, it is a massive fall compared to WFL
Where Have You Been is the only one that will smash because by the time it's released WFL would have died down. WFL has been both a blessing and a curse this era. It's the major reason why YDO and TTT struggled are struggling on radio.
We Found Love will obviously be the biggest hit on the album.
I think Talk That Talk still has potential to grow into a hit, and I think Where Have You been could be big too.
Even if We Found Love ends up as the only hit from the album, I don't think it's too much to worry about. It's still probably her 3rd most successful album campaign overall, in terms of singles.
And in response to the poll, there's NOTHING WRONG WITH COCKINESS.
They keep raving about WHYB but it probably won't even be released.
I don't think there will be another proper release after this whole BC/CB mess, I think her label will go into damage control and have her lie low for a while.

I was actually thinking the same thing. This whole era started off good but after YDO became a complete mess.
Everyone already knows that Where Have You Been and Cockiness will both smash and save the era.
Both Cockiness and Birthday Cake would be a total death sentence for the album. They are good songs but radio will NOT back it up, neither will music TV.
Birthday Cake would be avoided like the ****ing plague by radio.
