Oh sorry. I don't even listen to them. This website that puts up new songs posted it so I thought that it was new. Maybe it was just a throwback of the day song. I can see myself liking this group though. I generally don't like rock music but The Killers seem cool.

But I want that A-class first single noooow...lol. I really wanted an amazing first single, who knows a HQ might change my mind. STM was soo good right away.

I only like "can we climb this mountain" part as for now. It's a grower, I'll wait for th HQ and give it more listens.

I think with HQ - the vocals will become crisp, the synths more defined, and the overall tone will just have that edge that I think maybe you think is lacking.

As of right now, I'm totally digging it.

This song is insane. It's not their best track (that title belongs to JWAFOM), but it definitely is their best single. Can't wait to hear this song on the radio, over and over and over and over again.

Its definately not their best single...I still dont like the vocals on it. Its too different and shaky

That single is the very essence of huge. Everything about it is massive.

This is almost subdued in comparison.

But I love hearing it on the radio! The track is the straight ****.

K, well it did grow on me a bit. Mostly this slow little part and the build up:

"you can dip your feet.."etc etc

That's an awesome section of the song. The vocals are off a bit, I agree. It also has a strong nostalgia aspect to the lyrics and retro sound so I imagine that will hit big with radio listeners.

But ya, 7/10 at this point?

I didn't listen to the radio rip and only heard a snippet. I want to be surprised, so I'm avoinding anything related to it until the full thing.

This is almost certainly a grower.

But there's no way this will wind up being any better than "Smile Like You Mean It". I don't care what anyone says, that is The Killers in a nutshell and their best single.
