I was at Best Buy on Friday and they only had one left
They said they were selling quick and they weren't going to have any soon, not until a few weeks down the road until they more shipments.
I kept looking at Uncharted and then the PS Vita and....[told myself, I need to save money] but eventually walked out with it.
In my opinion it's cooler than the 3DS.
Uncharted
It's a touch screen, you use a lot of this feature. When you do hand to hand combat, it gives you finger swipes in all directions and if you fail to 'swipe' you lose aka get hurt. You also use this feature to do "rubbings" throughout the game, when you are doing paintings from sculptures. You also have to do this on objects to get the dirt off it.
When you are hanging from an edge, you have to tilt the PS Vita and push "X" to leap to the other side, across the gap. It's pretty nifty. Also when you cross beams/logs, this may sound stupid, but 2 inches before you make it across, the game makes you "lose your balance" and you have to tilt the PS VIta back and forth, making Drake stablize before finishing across.
On the back side, if you are on a rope if you rub down or up, you can control Drake going up and down a rope. On the back part there is a motion sensor. Which also controls, when you hold an object, you rotate it by moving your fingers on the back of the PS Vita
I didn't know this, but the back of the Vita is light sensitive.
I got to this one part of the game and it told me to hold my PS Vita aka the parchment in the game, against a light since there was invisible ink on it. So I literally turned my light on and held it up against the light and it showed the puzzle. Wowwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Other than that, the touch screen also can be used to, if you are hanging from a ledge, you can make a path to where you want to go and Drake follows it, which sometimes it fails to work for me :\, and you throw grenedes using this touch screen option.
Oh and the camera
Just like the 3DS, if you are holding a gun and move the PS Vita it controls the view so you can either use the anolog stick to shoot guys or just move the Vita and aim.
Sorry but the PS Vita ***** on the 3DS. 3DS has the 3D, yes, and the camera motion system, but PS VIta has so many more cool features. Just not the 3D part. Now please, release good games for this so my money isn't wasted.
One game (Uncharted) isn't worth the $300 I spent on it.
A new Silent Hill game comes out next month for PS Vita
