I am shocked. I was just in the "Your Faves Weakest Single" thread and numerous Beyonce stans commented "Single Ladies." Do you guys honestly think Run The World is better?
what about the general public? the nonstans and casual fans?
I think Single Ladies is the superior song, but the fact that you can't dance to it at all (unless doing the video choreography) probably annoys some people on here. It just sounds like it was created in some type of pop music lab.
Run The World was arrested for first degree murder when it came out. It is everything I love about a song, it's infectious without being disposable, it's crazy, it's mean, it's honest, and it's powerful.
Run The World is Beyoncé best first single imo. The power that song has is just crazy, every time I hear it, I have to dance, the beat is just so crazy.
