Like I said, if you don't like my comments then don't read them. & you're reading too hard into it. I posted this article so that we could discuss melisma and the two producers mentioned. This thread was turned into another Beyonce vs. Xtina thread! I said before that we shouldn't compare the two because it's 2 different styles and you guys bring it up again! This article was written by a hip hop critic. I just thought that it was interesting because he actually knew what he was talking about but this thread was turned into something that was not my intent!

Guys, why do we have to turn this in2 another Xtina vs Beyonce thread. The reviewer thinks Xtina has a better voice and he is entitled to his opinion. Even tho I am a B fan, I think the article is quite interesting.

I think the only reason there is constant friction between B and Xtina fans is because they are really the only 2 artists of their generation, excluding Alicia Keys whose records people actually talk about - they are important artists of our time.
