WOW, lol, when all of these came out, I thought of them as masterpieces lol. They're all great but the genre got a little carried away...
GIAB>IWLYF>BOMT>>>Candy.
-Christina Aguilera turned a 9 year old, Staten Islander on for the first time with that video

. She was truly hot. But other than that, the song was excellently produced by David Frank & Steve Kipper. The song's greatness was mostly due to the production. The vocals were smoothe and nicely arranged. It showed that this girl had ALOT more to offer as well.
-Jessica Simpson's IWLYF had to grow on me at first. But after about 10 listens thanks to my sister (who still plays the song endlessly and even made it her wedding theme lol), I began to realize that this song was a true pop gem because it had the whole package. The vocals, lyrics, production, arrangement...everything came together so well. It was obvious Mr. Mottola wanted to have a "Vision Of Love-esque" moment with this and yeah, it didn't live up to his expectations, but who cares? It's still an awesome ballad.
-Oh ****! Where it all began. That little hooker took the world by storm with one of the most corny yet brilliant songs ever. Max Martin's cool yet recycled beats and Britney's "girlie" & "innocent" vocals separated this song from the rest. This was truly one of the biggest hits during my lifetime. Every kid in the 4th grade LOVED this jam lol.
-Mandy Moore...She never really had a hit but "Candy" definitely caught the attention of the teen pop scene. It wasn't as interesting or "unique" as the other three but it was good.
