I don't mean to sound heartless but that's what happens when poor, uneducated children are burdened with children of their own. They've got to survive somehow.
Not to be funny or anything. But they need to pay MORE close attention to what they're doing. I had to send my Iphone back once because it had problems.
What country is it in?
What's the cost of living in that country?
What is the average wage of a low-class person in that country?
What's the legal working age in that country?
Does this provide opportunities for families to prevent themselves from starving?
You have to think of these things. 1.78 in some poverty-stricken countries is a lot of money especially when you think of the cost of living in some of those countries. And a lot of families are grateful for the opportunities these corporations provide for their families. They make money to feed themselves. I mean if they abuse the children and make their lives living hell... then.... but there is no point saying, they should be in school if they can't afford to feed themselves in the first place. Yes the world is a ****** place but there are people in far worse situations. If you were born in that country that would be you! And if they were born in U.S. then they'd have the i-phone. It's how life is. Sad, and we should try our best to make things better but at the same time these companies are helping the economies by bringing their money to these countries.

I dont see why they would employ little kids when they have so many adults desperate for those jobs. This is not where the underage kid workers hang out. They will be used at the more underground factories that are not regularly checked. And theyll be working for a lot less money than this.
Its a huge problem thats difficult to solve. Attempting to solve it could create more problems because however bad it is it could be much worse for them if it were stopped. A pittance wage is better than no wage at all. The world just isn't fair.
their passion for their craft really comes across, My iPhone is flawless.
