I think the thing that makes this seem worst than what it is is the fact that I'm so used to Kelly's fantastic belts in the song. They make all the verses sang by the Glee cast sound like they were sung by wimpy school children in comparison.

Yeah. i agree. it's too auto-tuned. i actually thought mercedes would do justice to the song since she has a big voice. nobody can touch queen kelly's version at all like seriously! hers wasn't auto-tuned! I like the production though.
the chorus was ok. it's not as terrible overall as some of you are making it out to be. at the end of the day it's a glee cover... if kelly had never sang this song and glee had released it as an original song, it'd probably hit #1 on iTunes easily.
ultimately, does this cover take anything away from the original? no. kelly's original still SLAYS and this is going to be GREAT promo for the song. besides, glee has enough phenomenal covers to allow for some of them to not be as impressive.
