The song is not as catchy as her previous songs.

The song will debut at number 1 or if not will get there anyway.

But its true. No matter how much a song gets criticized it tends to get forgotten if it does well on the charts. No one remembers the reviews but if it was a smash with the public or not.

If Katy's career was based off of critics, she wouldn't have one. The people keep her alive which is all that matters. There have been so many people that have had the critics in their corner but went nowhere.

Sorry but those that get critical praise and go nowhere spend their lives making music. Just because they are not on TV all the time doesn't mean they don't have music careers. On the other hand those that have gotten the quick hits have gone to do other things.

And your "went nowhere" comment goes to show it's not about the music but about money. When you love making music for the music's sake then you don't care about success.

Stop working with Dr. Luke and start making serious music.
