She just has to speak when she competes for them and the judges ALWAYS get messy when they fight for a contestant so she really doesn't need to be fed any lines. Plus she's always full of energy so i don't think she's hungover.

I don't doubt she's told to do some things. For example she always pretends to contemplate whether she wants to hit the button on a person performing at least once per show. She also tends to go on long off topic rants during the show usually about Adam. I also suspect she has shown up to work hungover before. Just like I'm sure Gaga, Rihanna, Beyonce, Katy Perry, Britney, Ke$ha, etc. have on numerous occasions as well.

What I doubt is that she's a full blown alcoholic going to the clubs ever night and is being told what to do for everything on the show. She has a kid at home and has to be up for a reality tv show for most of the time.
