I actually thought about this when i typed my responce, especially considering I've used it for more than just hook-ups, however unsuccessful it may have been. At the point they want to remain on grindr to make friends, trust becomes even more paramount. In that case I would just trust my instincts & be hoenst with myself about how much I know the person and their intentions.
