Nicki Minaj is thinking of a master plan. Rap’s reigning diva has set her sights on building an empire that rivals hip-hop titan Jay-Z.
The Young Money superstar shared her goal for world domination in the April issue of Allure.
“I had a little conversation with Jay-Z at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show,” she told the magazine. “He said, ‘Congratulations on all your success.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, I’m coming for you. I’m coming for your spot, Mr. Mogul.’”
And honestly she'll be the one to come close if not surpass all of them. Kanye called this 2 years ago. One thing about the music industry is people love praising women. There's that one name that's synonymous with a genre and Nicki could definitely be that female rap mogul.
It should have been Lil Kim but she doesnt have the business savvy to do it as we ALL have witnessed over the past 10 years.
It may sound "funny"... but name another female rapper this close to being a household name?
If she can sound like him, why not being able to get his spot?
