Sherri Shepherd: "Chris could be model for abuse victims"
On “The View” today, Sherri Shepherd expressed concern for the various girls who tweeted on Grammy night that they'd accept abuse from Chris Brown. So far, so good! Which is why it's too bad Shepherd then defended Brown (again), even suggesting he could serve as a role model for victims of domestic abuse.
She didn't say he should be a role model for abuse victims but for the children who witness abuse. He can show them that they don't have to grow to be abusers in relationships just because they witnessed abuse.
Normally I find the thing Sherri says to be stupid, but she has a point here.
Well how can he be a role model for people who have been affected by domestic violence when he clearly wants to act like it never even happened? Being a role model for a certain cause requires you to be able to talk about your situation maturely in the public eye, and not smash windows whenever anyone mentions it . I agree with what Sherri is saying, but it doesn't seem like something Chris would be willing and able to do.

What do you mean act like it never happened? You want him to walk around with a neon green shirt on saying "I Beat Rihanna." every day for the rest of his life?
And Sherri makes perfect sense to those who didn't watch it. What Chris did is a result of what he went through as a child, and he can speak about that with others who did as well, in appropriate settings.

No. He has to fully address the problem and live up to what he did. The reason people still talk about the situation is because he hasn't fufiled certain expectations. He still has a bad temper and his attitude needs work. He's lucky to still maintain a decent career considering what he has done.

!!!!! How can you be a poster child for something you hate to even acknowledge in interviews?? He acts like its a burden for him to talk about it. When people are only still asking about it because it seems like he still has the same issues!!!
