The numbers are impressive considering its performance in the States. It’s a shame 'Bad Teacher,' a worse movie with a worse opening, managed to get the top spot. As of today, his DVD releases have sold 18,469,129 units generating sales of $283,268,270 in the US alone.

Great sales were expected. 'The Help' had an impressive run in the States. However, it flopped miserably overseas. ‘In Time’ was a hit in the US and a smash overseas.
