In the future, do you think billboard will change the hot 100 rule and allow old songs to once again chart? If so, which songs do you think would rechart? I personally hope Britneys stans can get her entire discography recharted.
The Billboard rules change every so often. I'm not sure if they will allow old songs to chart. But anything is possible. Remember the last minute rule to allow The Eagles to chart on the Billboard 200, which caused Britney to miss #1? Or how Michael's death caused them to allow old albums to chart on the B200? It would have to be a special case where they decide to change a rule. The last major Hot 100 rule change I remember is allowing songs that wasn't released as a physical single to chart just based on airplay.
