As we all know, the Emmys have changed the way the nominate for the top categories. Instead of deciding the Series and Lead Acting categories by popular vote, the top 10 series and the top 15 actors/actresses in each category had to send in a tape to be viewed by a panel to make it to the final five/nomination stage. Well, the panels met this weekend and here's what they saw:

Sadly WB/UPN fans, Everybody Hates Chris and Gilmore Girls didn't make it.
After watching the shows, the panel voting on a scale:
A - Excellent
B - Superior
C - Fair

Some notes from the votes in the panels:
- Weeds and The Office went over VERY well.
- Scrubs didn't. The panel that watched it didn't laugh that much, and one voter who saw other ballots claimed he didn't see any As.
- Before WAG's episode was shown, the panel booed.

Now here are the top ten for drama (and here's where the shocks happen!)

The two other shows are unknown as of now. We do know that
a) the consist of one broadcast network and one cable network
and
b)this was the last panel to be held, as the two shows went over the 60 minute time limit.
Knowing this, the field has been narrowed down to three possible contenders: 24, Rome and Six Feet Under.

Horrible episode for Will & Grace; not the best episode of Weeds either.

Finale for Will and Grace?? WTF! They just want sentimental voters.

I really thought that the episode of Scrubs (My Way Home) was really good

What about Arrested Development? .. that show was freaking hilarious ..

But yay for The Office .. -_-
