Kanye West follows five people on Twitter. One of them is Kim Kardashian, one is a Polish model, another is a clothing designer and finally there is Azealia Banks, who just a few months ago was just another 20 year old MC from Harlem and is now one of the most hyped up female rappers in recent memory. Seems like Kanye's making a silent indication of where he thinks the future lies.
Azealia’s now working with producer Paul Epworth (Adele, Cee Lo Green, Bloc Party) and will tease her upcoming full length release with an EP featuring the tracks “212”, “Liquorice” and a handful of unheard remixes on March 25 via Polydor.
Azealia Banks also announced a string of headlining UK dates and will be on stage at this year’s Coachella in Indio, California. Check out the complete list of tour dates below.
