If Ke$ha's album's this year, then I'm excited as ****. She'll keep party music alive for 2012. I also get Sabi which will probably redefine my life and very existence, so I'm pumped for that.

It's a bomb-ass year for alternative pop.

Well, it's boring right now. But I can really feel that there will be some big and surprise smashes later this year. Dance music seems like its slowly losing its steam. Midtempos are gonna be dominant this year as well as rock and alternative.

2012 in pop music:

-Adele will continue slaying
-Lady Gaga's release will come so late in the year it won't be eligible at Grammys 2013.
-Britney Spears will not release
-Beyonce may release
-Rihanna may release
-Katy will only rerelease Teenage Dream

What does that leave?
-Kesha, who will (sadly) dominate in the absence of the above artists
-Justin Bieber, who will (sadly) do quite well with his collab-loaded album
-Cher, who will be as anticipated as The Greatest Thing
-Xtina, who will stay happily seated on The Voice
-Madonna, who will be as successful as GMAYL
-Bruno Mars, who may get a hit or two, but not slay
-Leona Lewis, who (sadly) obviously won't slay
-Adam Lambert, who (sadly) won't slay
-Pink, who will do decently
