While other artists were busy partying and enjoying the festivities of the 2012 Grammy Awards, a certain diva was focusing on her craft. Mariah Carey visited a voice and ear specialist in New York City last evening for a routine checkup.
Struggling to avoid the photographers, Carey was “heartbroken” by the recent passing of her friend and onetime collaborator Whitney Houston. The two singers were regularly compared to each other because of their massive vocal ranges and incredible control but maintained a private friendship away from the media spotlight.
wow it's sad. I think they had a more private friendship. It wasn't all in the public and they weren't seen a lot together, but I could see them meeting for dinner or talking on the phone every once in a while. She's probably distraught.
She was supposed to appear on GMA but it was postponed!!!
