The teenage star, who was mentored by Chezza in last year's series, implied on live radio today that the Girls Aloud star relies heavily on auto-tune.
Asked on Real Breakfast for Read Radio North West whether she'd ever work with the likes of Cheryl she said: "Maybe if she sings live with me."
Asked by presenter Debbie Ousbey if that was a challenge to the Geordie songstress she said: "Well it is nower days, when you haven't got the nifty little button to press."
The radio host replied asking if she meant auto-tune, to which Cher retorted sarcastically laughing: "What, oh no? Never, never ever!".
And Cher went on to have a dig at XF judge Louis Walsh, claiming he needs a break from the ITV1 talent show.
Asked if she reckons the Irish mentor should be around next year she said: "Maybe he should go on a holiday. Have a holiday for a few years! Have a break Louis, you work too hard.
"He's the only one that's stayed; he might as well go as well and bring someone else in."
