Haven't heard the new John Mayer. Probably nothing different from him
People are going crazy over Tool's Vicarious. At a local radio station, they day it premiered, people were calling in ALL day saying how much they love it.
Tool is a singles band, that's for sure. I think they'll squeeze 1 more off the dull album. The Dani California video would've been great for a different song. Not sure about Mayer. But his John Mayer Trio! album was very different than his earlier AAA stuff. Maybe he's changed.
Glad to see Tool at #1 again. They'll release "The Pot" next. There's just no way they'll release something else, unless it's "Jambi"--but even that's unlikely right now.
I don't really think 10,000 Days is dull, but it's not very radio-friendly. "Intension" is a great song, as well as "Wings for Marie" and "10,000 Days". I forget which one I like more...
RHCP already debuted with their new one, and Muse are going uppp. Nice.

CD sales down 10% from last week and sinks 8% compared to last year. So far 261 million discs have been sold this year.
Yeah, I know that looks funny with Cars selling more than December Underground but still ranked lower. I read it right, but the person who wrote it must've messed up. Hopefully we will get some explanation soon.
