Wao, Jesus.
It's so hard to believe. I don't know why, but even with the drugs stuff, I'm so shocked, it surprises me more than any other dead of the BIG people.
She was so amazing, hope she is in Heaven. (Yeah, I know some of you don't believe in that).
Grammys should have been canceled, imo. One of the greatest artists of all time.

It bothers me that so many other people got so much more attention than she did tonight.
And I'm not talking about Adele. It should've been Adele's night anyway.
But everything felt a little perverse. It was too cheerful. I mean, it's not like she died last year. She died YESTERDAY. Were they all on drugs? Probably.

I feel the exact same way, even though with her drug history it shouldn't really come as a huge shock. When I heard, I simply could not believe that WHITNEY HOUSTON IS DEAD. Typing that still feels weird.
I wonder what that letter says. Brandy looked really nervous once she glanced at it and the way Whitney slipped it to her in the mist of a interview means it had to be very important. The fact that she couldn't wait until the interview was over or give it to one of Brandy's people to give to her later. Scary.

Totally agreed. I understand there comes a point when one must say it's time to celebrate the life of the person who has passed away but there is suppose to be a period of mourning and I just don't see it. Even yesterday at the Clive Davis party the VERY night she died it's like oh we need to celebrate Whitney's life and just move on with the party.

What did you expect them to do? It's not like anybody really cared for her - most of these people who released statements released them for the sake of releasing them. The people who were truly affected by Whitney's death weren't at there: her family, her friends, her fans.
Sure, Rihanna was shocked. But what could she possibly do? Wail 'WHITNEEEYYYYYY' in the middle of We Found Love?

I wish some of you would stop with this.
Why would they cancel the event? it's held EVERY damn year. It's planned months ahead of time, many people found out Whitney passed when they arrived to the pre-Grammy party. Not everyone was aware she passed away. The main reason why Whitney was in L.A. was to attend the party which was held downstairs in the very hotel she was staying in. Family & friends have already said that Whitney would have wanted the party to go on. There was no reason to cancel it. Her death was unexpected and kept quiet until word was released to the media. Not everyone knew.
She seemed fine. She didn't seem frail, she seemed well and healthy. If this had happened before I Look to You, it would have been easier to accept, I think. But she rose from the ashes, she came back, she was on the right track and then this. She seemed okay.
It's so scary to think of death's power: the whole world prayed in vain for Whitney's little heart to start beating again. Death is stronger than you, than me, than our 'God'

I agree, I wished the reactions would have been more correspondent to her death, but it wasn't in the slightest. I guess we expected too much from the industry,
