I like the direction she went with "Turn Me On." That was a cool new change, even if it's just a 1 time deal.

Some of these other recent decisions make me wonder who she is catering her music too. I just mean this from a marketing perspective. I don't think tonight's performance is going to win very many people over.

Award shows program their schedules around performances like this. The Grammy's basically used her during all that commercial promotion and they obviously had her toward the end just so people could watch the performance that "everyone will be talking about tomorrow" for ratings and she never got a grammy. They used and abused her lol

It wasnt supposed to win anyone over. She doest care. Thats her weakness right now though. Like I said we'll see though.

I watched it again and it wasn't as bad as I originally thought. The religious stuff seemed thrown in for controversy, with no real meaning behind it. The song ***** though

I loved it!! It was very theatrical and the whole thing went with the theme of the song. Guess I'm in the minority

If that had been like the VMA opener or whatever other drunken party award show, it might have worked. It was a major faux pas at the Grammys though. In poor taste and just a hot mess all around on a night with so many strong artistic showings.

TBH the whole Grammys night was a snoozefest until this performance. At the very least, she gave us water cooler talk for the morning. The possession made sense for the Roman character, and it isn't like she is the first person to use religious themes. It was a fun, dark, theatrical performance that made it worth staying tuned in for the entire Grammys night.
