yeah, I can't wait!!!! All this music, from all these BIG name artist. It'll be interesting to see they all will play out come award time. And moreover, how well each will do on the charts with such stiff competition. I'm sure that they all (well, aside from Paris' disc) will reach their own levels of sucess. But I definately see Christina Aguilera and Beyonce leading the pack

Lets not leave out Jojo and Mya!

I'll pass on all of those. We need to balance this out a bit. Here's a little good news for the men who post here:

Powerman 5000, Lamb of God, Lostprophets, Audioslave, Deftones, Tantric, The Mars Volta, Helmet, and Stone Sour among others are due for new material before fall.

But the problem is that those acts dont sell and they have no appeal to mainstream...so no one really gets excited about them...just their niche fans.

Yep, same for the girls list. Luckily sales have little to do with quality. Or we'd all be screwed.

The best balance we need is a nice mix of those. Those bands Lt. Smash mentioned are nice to hear about since either I haven't heard from them in a while or I never heard of them, and on the other list the good choices are Janet, Nelly F. and Justin. Throw in Stacie Orrico, Mya and possibly Britney (if she releases a song quickly within the next couple of weeks) and we'll have a nice summer.

The general public would rather have Bee, Xtina, Paris and Jessica but....we'll see what happens.

And it doesn't have to be on mainstream though Froggert. That's why he brought those up.

And thats all like in the space of 6 weeks! Its crazy, i have all those artists last albums but i'll probs end up getting christinas, jessicas and justins new ones. If i somehow still have money after all that, i'll think about beyonces. Oh and JoJo's new cd is a MUST.

Very similar to the run of Godsmack, Tool, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Hoobastank, Buckcherry, and Rob Zombie all putting out albums within weeks of each other last spring. Except I bought all of those except one.
