Was bored at home so I went to see 'Click' which opened today in Puerto Rico (we get movies a day b4 US it kicks ass! ) and I have to admit it was better than I expected. The usual Adam Sandler hijinks are there but there's also a lot of heart and I never thought I'd say this but...I cried in an Adam Sandler movie (when one of the characters' die). It reminded me a lot of "It's a Wonderful Life" too. Anyway, really good movie. Opens tomorrow in the US.
Nothing will be funnier than Nacho Libre this summer in my opinion. But I've seen most of Sandler's comedies, and it looks pretty good. I actually saw Click for sale on DVD today, somebody had already bootlegged the DVD screener sent to talk shows, etc.
No whining. If you didn't like it, sorry. The packed theatre in which I saw it made it almost impossible to hear the dialogue after the funny scenes because the laughter was so sustained. I hope to enjoy it even more on home video. One of the campiest, strangest, best written comedies I've seen in a long long time. Watch it again if you didn't get it. Cry all you want, you won't convince me of your opinion of the film.

Probably the best movie I've ever seen. I saw it today and I was depressed throughout the whole thing--no it's not BAD in that way it just really makes you think. It was a masterpiece, really.

I saw it this morning. Very nice film. But if you think this is the best movie ever, and I'm not saying it's not to you, then you just haven't seen too many flicks in your lifetime. The acting was typical Sandler, good and corny at times in my opinion. The writing was spotty, edging on way-too-sentimental towards the end. I still liked it.
But Click will never be mentioned with Blazing Saddles, Being There, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Annie Hall, or any of the other comedies considered universal classics. Go watch some films, Sir Will.

You're kidding right, Lt. Smash? You seem the type to me that would like intellectual movies that get you thinking. RV is not that type of movie, and was kind of childish.
