The U.S. version is also in production; however, it is slated for a 2014 release, and it will be a 3D reboot of the U.S storyline.

As much as I hate the whole 3D gimmick in most movies, I think it fits this one really well.

I mean, no one's here for J-horror anymore.

This has been in the works forever, but I didn't know it was being rebooted. It seems more like a remake if the same storyline is being followed. Remaking a remake? No, it's been done before. The Thing comes to mind.

Anyway, I'm not too sure people are thinking about it anymore aside from J-horror fans and some horror fans in general. I mean, we all saw what happened with Scream 4. Wait too late, people move on.

Euro-horror is where it's at now. I wonder if J-Horror can still keep up.

The Korean remake, "Possession"

All flopped and the last two went straight to DVD after being shelved for so long. The last successful asian horror remake probably was "The Uninvited".
