Too bad, I actually enjoyed So Amazing. I wish she could pick it up again. Rihanna stole her spotlight with SOS. People just don't realize how good her cd is. Her first single "Say I" is very catchy and is better than Rihanna's "Unfaithful" I think she is flopping because she hasn't had a major hit that caught people's attention to her. Like Rihanna released SOS and that blew up and now her worst single to date is doing very well. If Christina could release a song like Hips Dont' Lie (I mean has in same method that Shakira used since she flopped) and maybe her sales would go up. Last time I heard, Say I was number 21 here on the R&B/Rap charts. So she's doing something.

Rumor has it that Christina Millian PASSED on recording SOS because it was originally given to her. Also I heard she was given a "Mariah-size" promotional budget for this album and when it sold 14 copies its debut week that was the final straw.

Not even possible. Had Christina been given a "Mariah-size" budget, Cool & Dre would not have been allowed to produce the entire album because they aren't woth what Def Jam would have been shelling out especialy sinc eChristina Milian can't sell a CD as an artist to save a lofe.

Beyonce is a "technical dancer", her stuff HAS to be rehersed, while Milian can bust it up front. Can you picture Beyonce in a dance studio like "MTB3" doing all of Laurie-Ann's moves? Nah, but I could picture Milian..

Christina hasn't found her "sound" yet, although Believer & Sugarcane is the kind of music she should lean towards. When she gets her "flow" goin' she turns all sexy and seductive with her voice like in 'Sugarcane'... Rihanna knows her sound is 'island-sh with a twist of 80's" she doesnt stray from it.. while Beyonce is contemporary R&B.

Milian wasn't promoted, you can't find album commericals on youtube.com unless fan-made.. If given the money, and right producers she could have gone big. Her problem is that Cool & Dre sorta sampled all their beats/rhymes, the album was unorginal..

I agree. And seriously, Bloodshy & Avant is what Milian needs to get a hit and a successful career. They bring out the truth in her. Look at "Sugacane", "I Need More", and several tracks from her debut...that's the real Christina Milian. "Believer" is also another great example of what Milian should have released in order to separate herself from the others.

But honestly, it's too late. Three attempts at trying to jumpstart a career is enough, even if it wasn't her fault. I REALLY wanted her to do well. "So Amazin" is a great Pop/R&B album but it just wasn't given a proper promotional campaign. Not surprised though seeing as how L.A. and Jay-Z are signing R&B chicks left and right (Teairra Mari, Megan Rochell, Karine Pasian, etc). Too bad they didn't focus on their most talented one.

Christina Milian made a HUGE mistake in trying this whole "ghetto" ****. She definately should have stuck with the sound from "It's About Time" now that she has some popularity, if she had released another album like that it, it would have definately sold more this time around. As for the Rihanna and Beyonce comparison. She HATES being compared to Beyonce and I don't know why people compare the two, as Christina was a solo artist two full years before Beyonce released "Dangerously In Love." Rihanna is just a laugh. She is a pretty faced, puppet doll of Islands Of Def Jam, who does exactly wut they want with little talent. "Unfaithful" is a whorrible vocal performance and she has only enjoyed success with her lack of talent by a carefully crafted staff (Ne-Yo writes her songs, but too bad he must waste them on someone like her...). Just imagine if Christina Milian had "S.O.S." (Rescue Me), "Suga Cane," and "Believer" on a CD with "Dip It Low?" She has wut it takes, but she has been screwed over too many times. = ( All she needs are some moderately intelligent producers.

Christina Milian should have also never sold "Play", another mistake.. However I do not feel SOS (Rescue Me) was for Christina. The song sample's a lot of 80's pop and that isn't really Christina, although she could do it, I think I like SOS better on Rihanna.

Thanx you Mark. Yeah, "Play" was obviously another mistake, but there is really just a long list for her and we can spend days discussing all of them.
