This line made me LOL
There are a few decent songs on there, but like zerrrrrro rock (I'm definatly not down with Nickleback as rock, and while I like AAR and The Fray, they are pop), and they few songs I like (Black Horse And Cherry Tree, the aforementioned AAR and Fray) are vastly over powered by generic material. Most people who like these songs have most of the cds they came from already. Most people who don't care for them activly hate those songs because of their overplayedness or predictability, and would have no interest in dropping $16 for a cd full of songs their sick of.
Plus, if you look at a lot of the old nows, they were better mixes of whats hot in all genres. The recent nows never look beyond the top 15 of the hot 100 to make their playlist, then throw a token country song on at the end so they can say it represents all types of music. It's funny how the more Now trys to appeal to listeners by just focus on what appears to be clearly popular, the more irrelevant it becomes.
