I just got official word from Fefe that her second album Sunday Love, has been placed on hold and will not be available June 20. Unfortunately, due to musical differences, Fefe is no longer with Island Records but is currently in-between labels. She hopes all her fans understand that this is for the best, and that when they finally own Sunday Love, they will be holding something very dear to her heart; something that she has molded for the last two years. At this time, I can confirm that because Fefe is still with the Universal division in Canada, a Canadian release and subsequent tour dates are being eyed soon, followed by an American release. Fefe would also like to remind her American fans that the album will definitely get its release in the states! FefeFan.com will keep you posted on all the latest - and as soon I get any official news on a future release date, it will be related here first. Thank you.
This album is finished. It's just like any other project, when its in developmental hell and the record company doesn't feel its up to snuff, it will be permenantly shelved.
Do you guys not understand why "Sunday Love" has become such a flop?
It is completely because of the lack of promotion!!! This lack of promotion is accounted for, IMO, because of Mariah Carey. This theory, or so I call it, was discussed in the flop of Utada's American debut "Exodus" (also on the record label Islands). For the last two years roughly, Island Records has had all its attention directed toward a project called "The Emancipation Of Mimi" (sound familiar?). Don't get me wrong, it was the correct move, as this album was selling, but ALL of it's attention was here, even through a rerelease (they really were "milking" it for all it's worth)!!! Absolutely, and I mean 0, attention was given to other artists in this label, let alone a chance for a debut from Utada or even a sophomore album from FeFe. This stands as the most probably reason for the everlasting setbacks and eventual flop of this album. = (

I agree, PR was a majority of the problem. Also the video she did (which falls under PR) for "Don't Let it go.." was a horrible mess itself. I would have a problem if I were FeFe's record label and question the success for the record and if it should be released. Next, I can't help but think that Rihanna, Christina Milian's current record contract termenation, and Avril Lavigne might've had a covert role in pushing the alblum back. (Probably scared of competition?)
I've liked her since Take Me Away landed on TRL, but she has been pretty much going downhill ever since.

Sorry fans.
I love ya Froggy but you're wrong on this one. Feef is really close to hooking up with another label and she's gonna get this record out as soon as possible. And she's not gonna stop until she's completely satisfied with things. She deserves a label that will support her 100% - and I'm confident she'll find one.
