Why is she releasing a damn sountrack single? (Toyasworld confirmed this is a soundtrack single yesterday)

This is crap. Its cool until after the 2nd chorus and I can not play the song anymore. She showed no growth as an artist.

That's because she can't sing for ****.

And I like "Deja Vu" more than this piece of hot, refried, flipped,flopped, baked, "1,2 Step/Oh/Goodies/Hotline/The Title" or whatever she calls this.

And Brian usually I agree with your opinion about R&B BUT you thinking her voice is plesant and this being a hit is nonsense. Her voice sounds pleasant because the girl can't sing for ****. Plus you like Cassie? Youve fallen off IMO about musical taste in R&B

I think the reason it can't sing is because it is a hermrophite and it's voice can't make up its mind of whether it wants to sound feminine or masculine.

Her vocals sound way too edited in this song for me.

I said "Me & U" is hot, I still think so. That doesn't mean I'm a fan of hers. But even if I was a fan of her music, should that concern you? I do not exsist for my opinions to coincide with yours or to make you happy. No offense but do you expect me to retract from my statements because "you usually agree with me" and decided to strip me of my musical credibility? Because I can really give two ***** if we agree or not. And I'm not trying to come off as an asswhole either.

Now about the song: I think some of you are deliberately taking this song seriously just to make Ciara out as a fool. It's a soundtrack single. You know, like our Lord & Savior Jesus "Beyonce" Christ did with "Check On It." Ciara writes good dancefloor jams (like "Get Up") and nice little R&B ditties, no one is saying she is set to be a legend for doing so.

And I is an AWESOME song, and most Ciara fans would agree

That and "The Title" prevented the "Goodies" album from being a solid album. She could have released any other ballad or mid-tempo and it would have done much much MUCH better. "Next To You", "Pick Up The Phone", "Ooh Baby", "Other Chicks", and "Thugstyle" are all far better than those two tracks. She could have gone along with another uptempo and released her most popular non-single, "Hotline", or "Lookin At You." Unfortunately, her label doesn't seem to agree with me.
