Nobody literally sings and dances their asses off at the exact same time, but Beyoncé and a few other artists are the only ones getting close to doing it. Don't even try to tell us what Beyoncé does because she is always giving us ACE LIVE vocals and putting on a hell of a show at the exact same time. The reviews never lie and you will never see her lip an entire song and just walk back and forth across a ****ing stage. Save that **** for Britney.
I don't mind lip-syncing in some cases. Sometimes it's needed, tbh. Like I would rather that then the huffing and puffing. That **** be scaring me, making me think they bout to have a heart attack or something and then I can't save them.

Britney still puts a great show on. And she still dances, but slower. The problem with her "album sales" is that she's perceived as a mindless pop star that should "mature". People expect her to release a Ray Of Light.

She may not know how to watch her breathing while she's dancing, but she's one of the few girls out there that can own a show with just her and a piano (and live singing, obviously).

I don't know the specifics. I can practically feel the productivity being sucked out of me whenever I watch a post-breakdown Brit performance. So I try to steer clear of those, especially during the school year. But I got the gist of it though, no?

I would rather they lip sync than sing terrible, especially if they autotune their live vocals (ie the Black Eyed Peas, like, why the heck didn't they lip sync their halftime show last year?!), but I don't really support lip syncing at concerts... like, why tour if you can't sing live? Just put out music videos or something...
by the way, does anyone know if Katy lip synced during her California Dreams tour? I saw it and thought she did an amazing job singing live, it didn't seem like she was lip syncing at all, I'd be disappointed if I found out that she actually wasn't singing live.
If it really came down to it, especially on performances like Gaga's Judas on SNL, would y'all rather her have stood there and delivered a good live vocal or had her dance so much and have some parts be shaky? It seems obvious to me what the preferable option would be...
It's just frustrating paying all that money to go to a concert only to hear someone sing along with a backing track. I mean, I can do that at home myself and for free.
If I wanted to watch a performance with ZERO vocals I would go on Youtube and watch someone do a routine to a song, and it wouldn't cost me $400
