Kelly sang the National Anthem as if it were a pop song. It is not meant to be sung like a pop song. It was OK but nothing to write home about.

It was incredible. That's how the anthem is supposed to sound.
She didn't over do it with runs and melismas & she sang the melody perfectly.

She actually did the exact opposite. Christina sang it like it were a pop song. Kelly kept the melody simple. How is that like a pop song?
