-- Korn not releasing a decent video for "Right Now". The potential for a good video there was STAGGERING.
-- System Of A Down releasing "Lonely Day" instead of the far superior "Holy Mountains", which would have went to #1 on rock radio, guaranteed.
-- System Of A Down refusing to release more than two singles from Steal This Album!. As flawed as the album was, that album had some of the best and most comercially accessible System songs ever, like "Ego Brain", "I-E-A-I-A-I-O" and "Roulette". Such a shame.
-- Linkin Park not bringing "From The Inside" to the US. More of an artistic bad decision than a commercially bad decision.
-- More of a non-decision, but could you imagine how much success P.O.D. would have had if they had decided to release "Thinking About Forever" after "Youth Of The Nation" instead of "Boom"? TAF would have been even bigger than YOTN.
-- "Good God" being left off of Korn's Greatest Hits. How can you justify putting on "Twist" and Dante Ross' remix of "Freak On A Leash" and leave off one of Korn's most popular and recgonizeable songs? Hell, "Thoughtless" getting left off is almost as bad.
-- Blink-182 choosing to release "Down" next instead of "Always". I'm sorry, but I REALLY don't like "Down", i'd say it's the weakest track on their self-titled album. Also, I think "Always" is probably Blink's most underrated single. A true classic.
-- One that has haunted me for the longest time: "I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself" being released instead of the far superior "Black Math" off of The White Stripes' "Elephant". A slap in the face to me. Not that the cover of "I Just Don't Know..." was bad, but "Black Math" had single written all over it.
-- Queens Of The Stone Age releasing "In My Head", aka the weakest Queens song i've ever heard. Especially depressing because they had a song like "I Never Came" waiting in the wings, which was also soft but was a much better song.
-- And finally, "Last Summer" by Lostprophets getting shunned in favor of "I Don't Know". My god.
