Avril Lavigne has revealed that Madonna has ripped off her "Girlfriend" song and general cheerleading image in her video and song for "GMAYL" (from the soon-to-be-released album "MDNA").

"I worked hard for where I am today, and it's disappointing to see that someone else (...) who can be the most original artist on the planet, can totally rip me off," Avril said recently to Radar Online. "We all feel the pressure in this industry to outdo one another, but it's just not cool. It's just not cool. I'm not naming names."
